This handmade clergy stole for Easter season illustrates a moment of dawning on the morning of the resurrection. Not only is the sun just peaking over the horizon, dazzling the bleak scene from the crucifixion and death of Christ, the Son is also just up on the horizon of human hope. This is the first moment of realization that Christ has conquered death; not only for himself, but for all of us. And by conquering death, he brings us into the glory of the Father.
