This simple design celebrates the role of the Holy Spirit and Mary's submission to God's will in the conception and birth of Christ.

Originally on a white background, this stole has undergone multiple modifications since the original design I created in September 2009. I remember the month and year because I made it in the week following the sudden, unexpected death of my dear friend and pastor's wife, Melody. She was a beloved teacher, who truly loved and enjoyed children, and she was anticipating the birth of her first granddaughter, who arrived three weeks later. While the current version is quite different from the original, I continue to dedicate the stole to her memory.
