Professional quality with a personal touch -- Serving clergy through the ministry of liturgical art since 2008

Serendipity Clergy Stoles is a liturgical art ministry, started in 2008. Since then I have sold over 1000 stoles. I offer pulpit and deacon stoles in multiple styles, with design offerings from simple symbols to more complex theological art stoles.

Clergy stoles require an advanced set of tailoring skills for a professional outcome.  All of my stoles are stabilized with interfacing for best drape, and constructed using advanced tailoring techniques to ensure straight, smooth seams and crisp corners. The patterns I use to make the stoles are of my own engineering, based on feedback I have received over the years. Each stole comes with care instructions, typically on the brand label at the neck.

All of the designs found in this shop are original designs by the artist. Each piece is hand drawn from handmade patterns, and then hand cut individually. The machine stitching around the pieces is entirely manual, not computerized.

The purpose of this ministry is to honor Christ in all aspects of work, particularly:

  1. In the use of my God-given gifts in the creation of items of beauty intended for the exclusive worship of Christ, and for ministering in Christ's name.
  2. In my commitment to what is essential Christian doctrinal orthodoxy.
  3. In the quality of my work.
  4. In the service I provide to clergy.
  5. In the way I balance the needs of my family with the demands of work.
  6. In the observance of Sabbath rest, and other regular times of spiritual and physical renewal.

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as though you were working for the Lord and not for people. Remember that the Lord will give you as a reward what he has kept for his people. For Christ is the real Master you serve. Colossians 3:23-24
