There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:28
When Jesus told listeners to render unto Caesar what was Caesar's and to God what was God, he was referring to the Roman coin on which the image of the Roman ruler was stamped. Jesus's point was that each human being is stamped with the image of God: whether male or female, pre-born or in hospice care, North American or Eastern, we belong to our Creator. While this stole recognizes cultural diversity, the Truth it celebrates is that each of us bears the "Imago Dei" - the image of God. As image bearers from many walks and stages of life, we are held together as one body in Christ by the Holy Spirit.
